Rest timer

A rest timer that starts on its own

Rest time is the training variable people respect the least. Musku takes care of it: check off your set, the countdown starts, and your phone tells you when it's time to go again.

Free.

It starts when you check

No button to hunt for: checking off a set starts the rest, unchecking it stops it. A discreet bar at the bottom of the screen shows the time left; tap it to go full screen, add or remove time.

One duration per exercise

Three minutes on squats, one minute on lateral raises: each exercise has its own duration, from 30 seconds to 10 minutes, or no timer at all. Set in a template, it is saved with it. With nothing set, rest is 90 seconds.

Notified even with the phone locked

When rest is over, the phone vibrates and a notification appears. On iPhone, the countdown also shows on the lock screen and in the Dynamic Island for the whole workout. On Android, the notification comes through whenever the app is in the background or the screen is off. On Apple Watch, the timer runs on your wrist.

A count-up timer for holds and cardio

On isometric and cardio exercises, a play button starts a full-screen stopwatch. When you stop it, the duration goes into the set: for a plank, the set is checked off and rest starts in the same gesture.

Need a one-off countdown? The “Manual timer” at the top of the workout starts one whenever you like.
