1. Purpose
These Terms of Service govern access to and use of the Musku mobile application, a strength-training tracking and planning service. By downloading or using the app, you accept these Terms unconditionally.

3. Nature and limits of the service
Musku is a training log. The app records the workouts you enter, reports your statistics back to you, and provides generic workout templates along with an exercise library published for information purposes.
Musku provides no individual sports supervision or instruction within the meaning of article L.212-1 of the French Sports Code: no teaching, leading, supervising or training of practitioners. In practice:
- The templates and programs offered are identical for every user. They are not drawn up based on your personal situation, your health or any pain you may have reported.
- The information shown about exercises (muscles worked, execution, points to watch) is general information, not instructions addressed to you personally.
- Statistics, gauges and volume ranges are a read-out of your own data alongside general reference points from the training literature. They are not a prescription.
- AI analysis features format your data so that you can submit it to the assistant of your choice. That assistant's answers are produced by a third party, under your responsibility, and are neither reviewed nor endorsed by Musku.
The publisher is not a certified sports instructor, healthcare professional or dietitian, and does not present himself as one. For guidance suited to your own situation, consult a qualified professional.
4. User account
Using Musku requires creating a personal account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information
- Keep your credentials confidential
- Use the service for personal, non-commercial purposes
- Not attempt unauthorized access to other accounts or servers
You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete my account.
5. Premium subscription
Musku offers a Premium subscription providing access to advanced features (premium programs, detailed statistics, etc.).
- Price and term: the available plans (monthly, annual) and their price are shown in the app at the time of purchase. Charged via your Apple account.
- Renewal: the subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours beforehand.
- Cancellation: you can manage and cancel the subscription directly from your Apple ID settings (iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
- Right of withdrawal: the subscription covers digital content supplied immediately. By subscribing you request immediate performance and waive your 14-day right of withdrawal, in accordance with article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code.
- Refund: the payment is collected by Apple, which handles refund requests under its own terms. We cannot issue refunds directly. This does not affect your statutory guarantees.
6. User content
You retain ownership of all data and content you save in Musku (sessions, exercises you create, notes). You grant us only the rights necessary to operate the service (storage, processing, display in your account).
7. Health warning
Musku is not a medical service and replaces neither medical advice nor guidance from a qualified sports instructor. Programs, exercise entries and blog content are general information, identical for every user.
Strength training carries a risk of injury. Before starting or resuming training, especially if you have a health condition, an injury, pain, are pregnant or have not trained for a long time, seek medical advice. Warm up, match the loads to your level, have someone show you any movement you are unsure of, and stop immediately any exercise that causes pain. Use of the app is at your own risk.
8. Intellectual property
The app, its code, design, and contents (programs, exercises, illustrations) are the exclusive property of Julien Legrand. Any reproduction without authorization is prohibited.
9. Liability
We strive to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
For direct material damage caused by a failure of the service, our liability is limited to the amounts you paid for the service over the last 12 months.
This limitation does not apply to personal injury or death, gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or wherever the law prohibits it. Nothing in these Terms excludes or reduces the rights you hold as a consumer, including statutory guarantees, nor limits compensation for personal injury: such a clause would be deemed unwritten.
It is up to you to decide whether an exercise or a training volume suits your health and your level, seeking professional advice where needed.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or delete an account in case of breach of these Terms, fraud, or activity harmful to the service.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. Any substantial change will be notified in the app at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you do not accept the new Terms, you can terminate your account.
12. Consumer mediation
Under article L.612-1 of the French Consumer Code, you may use a consumer mediator free of charge to settle a dispute amicably, after first trying to resolve it with us in writing at email@musku.app. The competent mediator's details are available on request at that same address.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by French law. If you are a consumer resident in another EU Member State, you keep the benefit of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence. In case of dispute, and after attempting amicable resolution via email@musku.app, jurisdiction lies with the courts designated by the rules applicable to consumers.
